Our Story
In March of 2006 my son, Simon, was born, and the seeds for MacDaddy were sown.
The event was the beginning of My MacDaddy LLC, but I didn’t know it at the time. I was working as a manager for an Apple Retail store. The hours were typical retail hours, some weekends, some late nights.
After one of those late nights my wife woke up when I came home and said, “We can’t go on like this. We have to find some way to have you home more often.”
I was inclined to agree, and the seeds for MacDaddy began to grow. We talked about my experience. In the three years that I worked for Apple Computer I developed classes for consumers and taught in the store’s theater as well as in the classroom. I empowered people to make the most of their Macs. I loved doing it. I loved teaching people and seeing them do more with their computers than they ever imagined they could. There were people that came in afraid of their Macs and technology in general. I made it my mission to not only have them overcome their fear, but to empower them to learn on their own as well as teach others. I wanted to bring that into peoples’ homes.
That’s what MacDaddy is all about: Empowering People!
